PLYMOUTH- Mid-State Health Center is proud to announce its newest addition to the greater Plymouth community. Mid-State Montessori Center, a non-profit, year-round Montessori-based learning environment for children ages three through six has been created as an effort to meet the educational needs of the Mid-State community and beyond. Committed to providing high quality, individualized instruction to preschool-aged children, Mid-State Montessori Center, located at 101 Boulder Point Drive, will follow the standards and principles outlined in current educational research as it supports each child in his/her path toward success and educational fulfillment. "In alignment with the educational framework developed by Dr Maria Montessori, Mid-State Montessori Center believes that providing children with a specially prepared environment, complete with specifically designed hands-on materials, will help to develop their natural potential and encourage a sense of exploration and freedom in the world around them," says new center director, Holly Furlone.
With the highly anticipated fall of 2007 opening, this new 2400 square foot educational space is conveniently located at the new Mid-State Health Center, just off of the Tenney Mountain Highway, overlooking the Baker River Valley.
